The four-mile walk will follow the normal format of conventional speed dating, with those taking part given a number and then paired up with someone of the opposite sex.

They are then given 10 minutes to chat as the group wanders around the Rhoscolyn coastline before walkers are asked to change partners. The speed dating walk takes place at 6pm next Thursday June 3 as part of the two-week annual Anglesey Walking Festival. The priory survived the Edwardian conquest and expanded slightly, but was dissolved in The buildings passed into the hands of the Bulkeleys of Beaumaris, who enclosed much of the land as a deep park and built a fine dovecote.

They also converted the prior’s lodging into a rather attractive house.
